I jump for joy, I will get home
shivering under endless layers
ears crawling past numb, blind under my shut eyes
a snowman, I shake it off and get going.
I'm cold, old, feeling my bones
warm day running away
I follow the sun, and I smile
catching my breath, need a rest.
Perfect wintry day
I sit, heavy breathing
legs shaking, an old-man-statement
cold, a minty natural extension.
Hard to move, I am stiff, overgrown
I jump down in the snow, what a glow
swimming through dry ice, a life-spice
I grumble, in the end I stumble.
